In the near future, "dream audits" are conducted to collect taxes and inflict product placement upon our unconscious minds. When taxman James Preble arrives at a remote farmhouse for a routine audit, he meets someone who has managed to remain analog with VHS taps and homebrew headgear. As he flips through her library of dreams, he begins to fall in love, and hope for an escape from his mundane life.
